Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Pebble Swing iPhone app and its companion Pebble Swing website. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising tracking.

Video and AI coaching

Your full swing video and audio are not uploaded to our servers or OpenAI. The app keeps an imported copy on your iPhone while you select and analyse a clip. Processing on your device extracts selected images and body movement measurements. To create an AI coaching report, these images and measurements, together with the golf profile, shot information and notes you provide, are sent through our server to OpenAI. The iPhone app asks for your permission before sharing. You may decline or withdraw permission in Settings; guides and existing reports remain available. Withdrawing permission stops future sharing, but does not undo a request already sent.

OpenAI processes API data under its API data policies. API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default. Provider security and abuse-monitoring retention is governed by those policies; we do not promise zero retention.

Accounts and saved information

• We store your email, account ID, password hash or external sign-in identifier, golf profile, and account sessions. Google sign-in on the website can also supply an avatar URL.
• Reports may contain swing images, body movement estimates, golf performance scores, notes and practice recommendations. Website history is stored with private swing images in Supabase. The iPhone app stores reports and imported clips locally; server-side analysis results are also retained for recovery after an interrupted connection.
• Server account data and recovery reports remain until account deletion or an applicable deletion request. Deleting a local iPhone report does not by itself delete the server recovery copy.
• The iPhone app is free and records up to 200 analyses per account per calendar month. It does not offer in-app purchases. Website credit packs remain separate and use Stripe; we store checkout references and credit balances, while Stripe handles payment details. Records from earlier subscription test builds, if any, remain subject to account deletion.
• Request logs, IP addresses and rate-limit counters support security, usage limits and service operation. We do not use them to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Services and local storage

Vercel hosts our service and provides website traffic statistics; Supabase stores account data and private images; OpenAI provides AI analysis; Apple provides iPhone sign-in; Stripe handles website payments; Resend delivers requested account emails. Model files are downloaded from providers including Google and jsDelivr for on-device processing. Network providers receive normal connection information such as IP addresses. Articles may include third-party media you choose to open.

The website and embedded iPhone analysis engine use an HttpOnly session cookie. The iPhone app also stores your language, appearance, golfer preferences and AI-sharing choice on your device. We do not use advertising identifiers.

Delete your account and data

In the iPhone app, open More → Settings → Delete account. Confirming deletes the Pebble Swing account, server reports and private swing images, profile, usage ledger, and locally saved reports and clips in this app. The same website account and unused website credits are removed too. Copies on another device must be removed there. Backups and service-provider security records may persist under the providers’ retention policies and cannot be used to restore your active account.

If you used Sign in with Apple and we do not hold a revocable Apple token, the app directs you to remove Pebble Swing from your Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple settings after deleting your data.

Website users and anyone who cannot access the app may request access, correction or deletion by emailing samueltoyu@gmail.com. We will respond within 7 working days. Apple and Stripe independently retain records they must keep for payments and legal obligations.
