How it works

Film a swing. Get told what to fix.

Most golfers never get real feedback. You film your swing, watch it back, and still can't tell what's actually wrong. Lessons help, but they cost $80 an hour and you only take a few a year.

SwingIQ does what a coach does with video. It finds the swing in your clip, pulls out the 24 frames that matter, and tells you what's going wrong, why, and what to practise. Every point it makes refers to a frame you can see.

01

It finds your swing

It scans the clip for motion and finds where your swing starts and ends, even in a long video. This happens in your browser, so nothing gets uploaded.

02

It grabs the key frames

24 frames, mostly from the top of your backswing through impact, because that's where swings go wrong. Your tempo gets measured from the same scan.

03

It writes your report

Scores for each part of your swing, the ball flight it expects, your three biggest problems with the reason behind each one, and a practice plan for the next two weeks.

The report

What you get back.

01

Scores for every part of your swing

Setup, backswing, transition, impact, finish and tempo, each scored out of 100. 50 is an average club golfer, 95 is tour level.

02

The shot your swing produces

The ball flight your positions point to, like a slice or a fat shot, and whether it matches the miss you told it about.

03

Your tempo, measured

How long your backswing and downswing take and the ratio between them. There's also a metronome you can set to your own tempo and use at the range.

04

Estimated speed and distance

Club speed, ball speed and carry, given as ranges. Honest estimates from the video, not launch monitor numbers.

05

Your three biggest problems

What it sees, why it happens, the shot it causes, how to fix it, and a drill with sets and reps. Never a list of twenty things.

06

A two-week practice plan

A few sessions in order, each with a way to check it worked. You tick them off on your phone at the range.

07

Your history

Score trend over time, your best and average, how often you practise, and which problem keeps coming back.

08

Your video stays on your phone

The frames are read right in your browser. You don't need an account. If you make one to keep your history across devices, only the numbers get saved.
